EasyText Text Editor Problem Report
Listed here are any
issues or problem reports that have been brought to our attention as of Sunday, March 26, 2000.

My toolbar buttons don't
look right.
I can't drag files to the
EasyText program icon but they will open inside the program.
When I print and ask for 2
copies of a file, I get 4 copies.
After installing EasyText,
the program will not run and I get an error saying " Unable to register the Visual
Speller component ".
You say EasyText will open
Word (.doc) files but the ".doc" extension does not show up in the Open and Save
File Dialogs.
1. My toolbar buttons don't look right.
Cause: You may not have the latest version
of the ComCtl32.DLL file installed on your computer. This is
a Windows system file located in your system directory.
Fix: You need the latest version in order for the
Toolbars to display properly.
You can get this newer version directly from Microsoft at : ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/softlib/mslfiles/40comupd.exe
or you can get it from our site by clicking HERE.
After downloading this file, simply click on it and the newer version will be installed.

2. I can't drag files to the

Cause: Installation bug which is unknown
at this time. Thought only to occur on systems with an older version of Easytext
installed.
Fix: Version 3.0.2 addresses this problem.

Cause: Unknown. One(1) reported case.
Fix: Unknown at this time. Still under
investigation.

4. After installing EasyText, the

Fix: Unknown at this time. If you
experience this problem, please contact us via the Contact page
and let us know the specifics of your operating system. Your help in this matter may
possibly lead us to the root cause of this problem.

5. You say EasyText will open Word
(.doc) files but the ".doc" extension does not show up in the Open and Save File

Cause: Programming error.
Fix: This error has been addressed in
version 3.0.
